Subject: Scooter makes travel holiday a success
My husband, Drummond Lister, and I just returned from a week's vacation in Curacao, Netherland Antilles. We purchased an Easy Travel Elite scooter in November in anticipation of this holiday and it met all our expectations and gave me a real holiday.
Drummond had a stroke in June 2000 and although he can walk unassisted, he needs help if he has to go long distances. The scooter allowed him to be fully independent at the resort in Curacao including a visit to a sea aquarium. He was able to be independent as we moved through various airports and, as such, was able to share responsibility for negotiating our way.
The scooter folded up and down with an absolute minimum of effort and was of great interest to all the airport personnel that saw it.
We are already thinking of other holidays we can take together with the support of the ActiveLite scooter.
I am including two photos of Drummond on his scooter for your interest.
