Hello Bryan,
Kay Firestone and her ActiveLite were on the move again! This time we tackled New York city for a week in May.
The first photo is of me meandering through Central Park. The second of boarding a bus.
Believe it or not it was liberating to board a bus. Taxis are inexpensive there but I preferred to take the bus. All the colour and conversation of the bus ride made me feel like a native New Yorker. And since it was New York City nobody gave a person riding a scooter a second look. In NYC anything goes!
It was my first visit to New York City but it won't be my last. These days the city is filled with friendly, polite and helpful people. Not at all what I expected.
Our next journey is to Cape Cod in August! No sense hanging around the house when I can go almost everywhere with my battery charger and the ActiveLite.
