MOBILITY AT LAST

The Easy Travel was delivered Tuesday afternoon, around 5 p.m. by UPS. My step-son unpacked the unit and plugged in the standard battery for charging overnight. This morning I scooted around the kitchen - it was great!

The scooter will be kept in the car trunk - we have a 2000 Cavalier sedan and the unit fits nicely in the trunk with loads of space left for groceries, suitcases or whatever. It is very compact. The chair section fits in horizontally, leaving more space in the front of the trunk. The front column fits neatly on the left side (vertically). The basket fits in the chair section and the battery slides under the chair section. Very compact. We will send a photo when developed.

This afternoon I am going on my "maiden voyage" in the Pen Centre Mall here in St. Catharines. I now will be able to access all parts of the mall - the stores, the food section, the theatres (if need be). Tomorrow, my wife and I will start our walks on the paved trails bordering the Welland Canal and also the Niagara Parks paved trail (from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Fort Erie along the Niagara River. We want to thank you, ever so much, for all your assistance in demonstrating the Easy Travel at your booth in Toronto at People In Motion 2002. The Easy Travel is tailor-made for my use. I have sufficient mobility to assemble the unit and to pack it away in the trunk of the car. I can now go places that I only "wished" about before.

"... Things are going very well with the Easy Travel. Ester and I have been out on the trails and plan many more throughout the summer. Along the Niagara Parkway from Queenston to Fort Erie - this will be done in stages of one to two miles at a stretch. I am getting around large shopping malls like never before. Enclosed are some photos taken while we were out and about. ... Sincere thanks from both of us for your assistance."
